Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account info: name, email, and login credentials.
- College-application context you choose to enter or upload: questionnaire responses, transcripts, high-school profiles, pinned colleges, dismissed colleges with reasons, preferences (size, travel scope, etc.), test scores, and the conversation history you have with the Mr. Lambert AI counselor.
- Server logs (timestamp, page accessed, response status) for operational purposes only.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to operate the Lambert's Grove service: generating personalized college-fit rankings, AI counselor responses, and counselor / parent dashboards. We do not use your account information for advertising, behavioral profiling outside the service, or any purpose unrelated to college planning. See Advertising on our public pages below for the one thing that does involve an advertiser, and what it is limited to.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information to anyone. We do not share your account information, meaning your questionnaire answers, grades, test scores, school list, essays, or counselor conversations, with advertisers, marketers, or affiliates. Your information is shared only with our AI counselor provider (Anthropic) for the sole purpose of generating the responses you have requested.
Advertising on our public pages
Our public pages, meaning the home page, pricing, FAQ, how it works, sign up, and the free introductory questionnaire and read, carry an advertising cookie from Meta and Google Ads that tells us which ads bring people to the site. It records that a browser visited those pages and how far it got. It does not run anywhere inside the signed-in product, and it never receives your questionnaire answers, grades, test scores, school list, essays, or counselor conversations.
When someone finishes creating an account or purchases a season pass, we report that conversion to Meta and Google Ads so that we can tell which advertising works. That report includes a one-way hashed form of the email address, used only to match the conversion to an ad, and a purchase amount. It contains nothing about a student, their academic record, or their matches. You can limit this through your browser's cookie controls or your ad preferences with those companies.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, these pages load no advertising cookie at all and no conversion is reported for you.
Data storage
All data is stored on private servers operated by the service administrator. Access is restricted to authenticated users (you, your parent, your counselor, if you authorize one) and the service administrator.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for high-school-aged students (typically 14-18). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please email privacy@lambertsgrove.com so we can delete it.
Your rights
You may request to view, update, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@lambertsgrove.com.
